When it comes to patient engagement, there are two sides to the story – the patient perspective and the provider perspective. CDW turned to O'Keeffe & Company to execute a research program that examined patient engagement from both vantage points and could serve as the foundation for an integrated public relations and marketing initiative.
The resulting “CDW Healthcare Patient Engagement Study” explored patient engagement levels, priorities, and technologies – and what the future holds for both patients and providers. Coupled with the report, O'Keeffe & Company executed media outreach and a social media campaign, as well as developed an infographic and landing page on CDW's Newsroom.
Thanks to strong survey results, today CDW is working with O'Keeffe & Company to develop a second Patient Engagement Study. It will build on and compare to the initial report. Further, the new iteration of the program will expand on past statistics and explore drivers, challenges, and influences for patient engagement, as well as the growing role of technology and communication. The studies provide a platform for CDW to leverage across media and influencers, and use in conversations with current and potential customers.
